    I will never be coming here again. Me and my boyfriend decided to try it out because of all the great reviews, which is shocking because the food wasn't good at all like we had read. Barely touched the enchiladas. However, the real problem was with the service we recieved. The waitress we had was BEYOND rude. I ordered my meal in Spanish as I always do. My boyfriend was having trouble pronouncing a menu item so he had pointed to the item he wanted (which is not uncommon) the waitress then told my boyfriend that since she is speaking to him in English, he needs to speak to her in Spanish. We were stunned and my boyfriend didn't respond. Then she proceeded to say that since she had to learn English here, he needs to learn Spanish. ALL OF THIS just because my boyfriend couldn't pronounce ONE word and pointed to the menu item. It was uncalled for and crossed a line. Not once has my boyfriend (who is white) ever disrespected anyone, including my family, for speaking Spanish around him. This waitress assumed something that he isn't. I recommend you save your money and go somewhere else other than this gentrified "authentic mexican" food restaurant and experience the horrible service of the waitress. If you do choose to go, I hope you know how to speak Spanish because your waitress will certainly have some disrespectful words for you.

    This place has authentic Mexican food. The service with a smile and cheerful attitude is great as well. I highly recommend it.

    Doesn’t get more authentic than Cascabel. Always delicious, always fresh, and friendly service. I recommend the cafe de olla and chilaquiles

    The atmosphere was great. We ate outside on their patio. The menu is full of authentic Mexican fare rather than the ubiquitous Tex-Mex of the region. I had the Cochinita Pibil. The pork was awesome with a salty slightly sour flavor from the peppers. A great dish. We also had the puerco de cascabel. Also a great dish.
